“Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer’s Day” Mug
This is a lovely white bone china mug, the calligraphy is handwritten by me, the quote is the first two lines of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18 – “Shall I compare thee to a Summer’s Day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate” Who wouldn’t swoon over that sentiment, the perfect gift for someone very special, or a great present for yourself, and you’re just fabulous!
The calligraphy on the “Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer’s Day” mug has been applied to the mug using a professional glaze and then fired at a temperature of 850 degrees in a kiln, giving it a robust, hardwearing finish, It won’t fade or wear off, no matter how many times you put it through your dishwasher. Life’s too short for hand washing!! And if you need to put it in the microwave, then that won’t do it any harm either. Tough and beautiful – doesn’t get better than that!
A treat for your morning cup of tea or coffee – as thou art more lovely.
